About This Crystal

A smoothly polished, tumbled pocket stone featuring distinct curved and banded concentric layers in rich shades of reddish-orange, rust-brown, and opaque milky white. The surface exhibits a high glossy vitreous luster with smooth, rounded contours characteristic of tumbling.

Color ranges from brownish-red to bright orange with white bands; streak is white; cleavage is absent; fracture is conchoidal; specific gravity is approximately 2.65; tenacity is brittle; lacks magnetism and fluorescence in most standard UV lights.
