About This Crystal

A small, water-worn, rounded pebble with an opaque to translucent appearance, dull to waxy luster, and a grayish-brown weathered exterior surface typical of alluvial quartz.

Physical Characteristics

Color is grayish-brown, streak is white, cleavage is absent, fracture is conchoidal, specific gravity is approximately 2.65, tenacity is brittle.
