A translucent to transparent milky white quartz matrix distinctly featuring embedded black prismatic needle-like inclusions of schorl tourmaline

Color is white with black inclusions, white streak, conchoidal fracture, vitreous luster on the quartz and resinous on tourmaline, specific gravity approximately 2.65
Optical Properties
Singly and doubly refractive uniaxial positive with a refractive index of 1.544 to 1.553, no significant pleochroism in the host quartz
