About This Crystal

An opaque, polished tumbled stone displaying a vibrant mix of turquoise to dark green, earthy yellow-brown patches, and striking bright red spots or veins. The surface is smoothly polished with a vitreous to waxy luster.

Hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, white streak, conchoidal fracture, cleavage is absent due to microcrystalline structure, specific gravity around 2.65

Singly or aggregate doubly refractive microcrystalline structure, non-pleochroic, opaque with a smooth waxy-to-vitreous sheen
