A small, tumbled, light green stone showing a glittering or shimmering effect known as aventurescence, caused by tiny flat reflective inclusions of chromium-rich muscovite mica (fuchsite)

Light green body color with a white streak, sub-vitreous to greasy luster, translucent to opaque transparency, conchoidal fracture, no distinct cleavage, specific gravity of approximately 2.65
