About This Crystal
An opaque, polished oval palm stone displaying a deep reddish-brown to rust color with darker, mottled patches and fine black dendritic or matrix inclusions scattered across the smooth surface. It has a vitreous to waxy luster when polished.

Color ranges from brick red to brownish-red, streak is white, cleavage is absent, fracture is conchoidal to uneven, specific gravity is approximately 2.58 to 2.91, tenacity is brittle, and it does not typically fluoresce strongly.
